FECYT (The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology) is a public foundation established in 2001, under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. The Department for Scientific Information Management at FECYT provides funding, support and quality certification processes for institutional open access repositories; national scientific journals, academic monographs and publication services of universities, institutions and research centres; and for the implementation of the National Open Science Strategy launched by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities in 2023.

FECYT is leader of WP2 and tasks 3.2 and 4.1 and co-leader of task 5.3 with a horizontal role in all WPs.
