AJOL is a South African non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the online visibility and access to published scholarly research of African-based academics. AJOL aims to enhance conditions for African learning as well as African development.

AJOL is co-leader of T5.4 and has horizontal presence in all WPs as a main responsible for representation and activities carried out in Africa.
